NTL Routing to other NTL users [Archive]

Hi guys,

Any one had any issues with routing? (Just to other NTL Users?)

Basically, I can ping a mate down the road, I can ping my mate accross the road, now if I attempt to ping some one a few miles away (10 mikes+) I can't ping him, I try to ping a few others from the same area, no luck. I also tried to use Hamachi to connect to them but nope, no luck at all. I try tracert and don't even get to a 3rd hop. (Yet I can with my mates close to me)

Any ideas?

Perhaps he has a router or firewall the other person you are trying to ping? If he has a router he will have to untick Block WAN Ping.

Nope thats the first thing we said, but with me trying 3 users (2 of which have a direct connection)... and it was working fine the day before that...

Bump, It's still happening... Any advice on what I should do? contact NTL (Will the support lines even know wtf im talking about, or will they give me some bs about restarting my pc, firewall rwaaar)
