Hi Guys,
Does anybody know what is meant by a "Navigator's Watch"?
Apparently it has a quite plain, easy to read, dial - but that's about all I know.
Any pictorial help would be appreciated, need to go and buy one :)

They are specially made to take high level altitude pressures, much the same as diving watches take pressures under the sea.

Hmmm.....it's not actually going to worn by a "Navigator" I just need to find one in that style.
Thanks though :)

They look like normal watches. The third one down here is a navigators watch. There's nothing special about them to look at.

Thanks Charlie, I have the feeling that I've been misinformed somewhere - or that I've misunderstood the requirement :)

What does the person you are buying for want, maybe someone knows the kind of watch.

Ok, just read the first post again. I believe one of the things about these watches is they are more visible at lower lighting.

A watch.
Light coloured face (white possibly) - with a date counter if possible.
Black, leather, strap.
Plain, and classic, design - not fussy or overly ornate.
Needs to be easy to read, during the day and at night, and (if possible) have a light of some sort.
