Cool, ta everyone... I got it right then :D

Although I reckon that this subject may need some further investigation, and would be very worthy of a National Lottery grant.

Write up a plan.
You have a defined objective, a research plan, well defined costs. (Rolls of Tinfoil, quantity of chickens to roast etc.

Should be easier to document than some of the rubbishy schemes that did win funding. :)

I think that shiny side out to reflect heat on 'delicate' foods such as fish.Shiny side in to promote long slow roasting...

But as most folk use microwaves these days cling film is your friend..Not that I'm keen on the stuff. It's a machination of the devil is clingfilm. :disturbd:

No good for grilling bacon - whereas tin foil promotes faster grilling and obviates the need to deal with the residue in the grill pan post cremating. Fold it up and bin it - sorted.

Yeah and while you are cutting it with scissors it wraps it'self around the scissors, climbs up yer arm and tries to sneak into the nearest orifice..It's demonic stuff you know...
