Hey,

Just did a speed test on ADSL guide and my uploads are coming out at 110kbps (13.8KB/Sec) actual speed. Im on the 2mb package and downloads are fine. Can anyone tell me if this is the limit on the uploads? as it seems shockingly slow to me.

Did that and got these results:

Wed, 10 Aug 2005 23:40:04 GMT
1st 128K took 571 ms = 229548 Bytes/sec = approx 1910 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 540 ms = 242726 Bytes/sec = approx 2019 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 601 ms = 218090 Bytes/sec = approx 1815 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 611 ms = 214520 Bytes/sec = approx 1785 kbits/sec

looks spot on to me mate but ive no doubt someone will be along soon with proper advice :)

Fair doos, thanks anyway. It's just on BitTorrent (downloading legal stuff of course) that any uploads higher than 5kb/s completely ruins my down speed and I can't access any websites. Bummer.

its as slow as the weakest link if you have given to much then it will be slow
a friend put his as t3 and he regretted it :)
also restrict the amount of uploads:D

That only checks download speed, not upload. :)
