I am a fan!
I will be buying it, as I have had an "unofficial" copy of the original "Get Back" Album that should have been, but became "Let it Be" with all of the Spector Production on it.
It appears the "Let it Be - Naked" is what the Beatles wanted for "Get Back"!

as far as i am aware the only people who actually like the beatles are people in their 50's/60's , scousers and americans.

So what is wrong with being in your 60s - and a sort of scouser? Beatles - well, like some of it. Actually I remember seeing them BEFORE they met real fame. They were the group playing in the refreshment break at a Liverpool University dance/ social at New Brighton Tower Ballroom. I cannot remember the date but it must have been VERY early 60s - I reckon end 1961 or early 62. Certainly before the group made the bigger time.

how can you not be a beatles fan ?
Could be very very stupid with no ear for a good song. ;)

Actually, I wouldn't call myself a fan as such (picky picky picky) because I don't own an album but their music is great.

I think nearly everyone will have liked or if not liked, nodded their head to a beatles song at one time in their lives.
I have a cousin who's 12 and she likes the Beatles.

programmes such as Pop idol and Stars in their eyes use Beatles songs and then young children go and discover the original material and you have new Beatles fans.

They're ok but I preferred The Rolling Stones myself.Still do! The Beatles were too 'nice'.

Incog. :)

I remember at school assembly (1964), being asked who we preferred - the Stones, or the Beatles. Those of us who indicated a preference for the Stones were then lectured on the folly of our ways & how we would be subverted by what they represented. :erm: - I still like a great deal more Stones material than Beatles material. :)
