I live in West London and I am a NTL digital subscriber with NTLworld 24/7 dial up service.

There is no cable broadband service in my area and no prospect on one for some time. I want to get broadband but i do not want to change from NTL i.e. get a satellite dish outside my house.

Can i do this without getting a BT line back in, which will involve the extra cost of having two phone lines which is not what i need.

:welcome: to Cable Forum :D

You can subscribe to just phone, TV (with "bundled" phone line rental), Broadband, as standalone services, or any combination of the above.

I suspect you are getting a bit of a package deal on your dial up internet, but that doesn't compare to the advantages of broadband for speed. Just phone ntl to cancel the dial up service.

You will need a BT based phone line to get an ADSL service.

Sorry, Freedom is ntl's ADSL product which currently requires a BT based line.
