Hi dwade05,

:welcome: to Cable Forum :)

You can just buy a standard router and then plug your PC and your PS2 into it using ethernet leads. The router is then connected to the Stand Alone Cable Modem (SACM) and away you go.

Or, you could buy a wireless router. Connect your SACM and your PC to this and then send the signal to your PS2 via the wireless facility. To accomplish this you would need some sort of wireless device which is suitable for your PS2 (in order to enable it to connect to the router) - this is where I'm a little unsure, don't know if such a thing exists.

In the mean time, sit back, kick off your shoes, relax, and enjoy your stay :tu:

Such things do exist :)

You'd need some sort of wireless ethernet bridge -

Wireless "B":

Linksys wireless B Game Adapter, WGA11B (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005JJEO/qid=1121626024/sr=1-20/ref=sr_1_2_20/026-6019543-7911604)

or

Linksys wireless B ethernet bridge, WET11 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000066JQU/qid=1121626120/sr=1-21/ref=sr_1_2_21/026-6019543-7911604)

Wireless "G":

Linksys wireless G Game Adapter, WGA54G (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000DG4WG/qid=1121626024/sr=1-13/ref=sr_1_2_13/026-6019543-7911604)

or

Linksys wireless G ethernet bridge, WET54G (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004Z6ZG/qid=1121626152/sr=1-31/ref=sr_1_2_31/026-6019543-7911604)

The B or G ethernet bridge will do the job fine, although the B or G "Game Adapter" may be better suited, & easier to configure.

And obviously a wireless router:

Wireless B:

Linksys wireless B broadband router, BEFW11S4 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005ARK3/qid%3D1121626325/026-6019543-7911604)

Wireless G:

Linksys wireless G broadband router, WRT54G (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00008DOYO/qid=1121626273/sr=2-2/ref=sr_2_3_2/026-6019543-7911604)

Although I've given Linksys examples, Netgear etc. also make wireless routers, & wireless ethernet bridges.
