anybody here drive a forklift, the lad next door is wants 2 do a course driving forklifts but he hasn't got a driving license is this legal, not a road vehicle i suppose but ?

perfectly legal so long as he doesn't drive it on a public road ;)
I had a job which involved driving forklifts before I passed my 'proper' driving test :)

Yes it's legal, as long as he doesn't drive it on a road, and just drives it on site.
Yep, my mum always tells me she learnt how to drive a forklift before she learnt to drive a car, I assume its still the same now. :)
Just remember, it's *not* legal to use the forks to shift someone else's car out of the way to get yourself a parking space...! :eek:

I used to drive one of the little yellow samsung ones at the warehouse i used to work in.

Yeah, it does look like a fuel drop tank rather than a bomb.....
