Thanks! :) In return, a bit of advice. Don't ever buy the fish soup at The Ship Inn, Solva, even when told the chef brought the recipe back from Toulouse where he spent a whole five weeks working. Instead, query how he got the export licence for industrial effluent from the French authorities!
Oh dear lord that is bad!!

I see someone's been on the Thistlegorm. :tu: If you get the chance Rosalie Muller is even better - or was a couple of years ago.
Shame the divers without regs in their mouth are holding their breath :nono: :D
Must get round to doing a website of many of my shots.

I guess he takes after his mum :p: In that he costs me a lot of money and expects me to wait on him hand and foot, you are entirely correct! :)
Here are some from Austria:
My other lad on a RIB trip which, incidentally, I highly recommend if you're ever in or around St. David's.
Maternal or paternal descent Nug? ;)

It would also be good if people put what camera they took them with so that if any one is thinking of getting a new one they can have a look at the quality of pics the different ones take :)

Crete 2004
Was a decent enough holiday let down by the lack of things to do!
Beautiful scenery though.
I even got cultured when we visited the palace of knossos, a place I loved learning about in Greek mythology.
It was a shame we couldnt get into the labyrinth to see where the minotaur was alleged to have lived.

Holidays?What are they? :erm:
I'm wondering too :erm:
I grew up working class - holidays were day trips to Brid or Scarborough. My mum, sister, gran and I spent a week or two at a rented holiday flat in Brid - it's the longest I've been away. In my teens, I spent time with relatives and my mum and sister in Ambleside, in a caravan (joy). Never been abroad - don't really want to. I'd only end up bored. I marvel at kids today who spend weeks abroad on school trips and holidays with parents.

My faves are the Peru ones...particularly Machu Picchu, the Colca Canyon, the Nasca lines, & the sunset pics taken on Lake Titicaca.

Looks beautiful.Highly recommended, great locals, cheap food and plenty of places to visit.
(one downside is the suicidal driving, make sure you get in the front of taxi's, they don't have seatbelts in the back)
Yeah I was actually talking to my sister about possibly going there as your pictures have really sold that place to me.
Will have to make it a future place to visit I think for sure.

Where in London are the strange sculptures ?
The giant metal spider thing was at the Tate Modern.
The strange boat with the "face" is called "The Navigators" & is at Hay's Galleria near the London Bridge station & the London Dungeon.
