Lost Password

I haven't really lost the password... but lets just say i had:

Thats ok, i can go to the website https://packageswitch.autoregister.net/scripts/password/forgot.asp and type in my e-mail address and they will e-mail me my password.

But wait, how do i check my e-mail if i do not know my password? Seems a bit silly if you ask me!

Edit:Yes i know you could check it if you were using outlook or a mail package, but thats beside the point.

heh i have the same problem, thankfully i dont use any of my ntl webspace or email so im not to fussed about finding it out.

Even the auto installed didnt setup outlook properly so mail never worked from there either.

This is why every email account I use I export the settings and address book to a file, then back the file onto a CD,

So much easier than entering details manually....

Tools, Accounts, mail, new, email account, enter details, try to remember email account passwords and mail server details, then check it works

Tools, Accounts, Import, browse to file, all done.

If you've forgotten your password, but you've got it frustratingly asterisked out in your Connection Settings, you can use a useful little creature called Snadboy's Revelation (http://www.snadboy.com/) to reveal it. Catchy name, huh?
