I am quite impressed by the quickness of the responses on this forum. Do people genrally stick to just the one forum, or do they subscribe to several?

I belong to several forums, but out of those, this is the one I visit most. It's also the most active.

i dont think this forum can be beaten really, sure there are other forums with loads more posts but for reponse times and the sheer variables of knowledge and participation this forum is unique.

in other words i like wierdos and everyone here is :p: ;)

See I do not mind, as I have different sigs for different forums, so I cannot see what difference it makes to be honest.

Well %95 anyway, I have been known to look at digital spy when I've got a sky problem.

But other than that, it's this one all the way for me, as it's got everything. Including a very interesting basement area :)

Hmmm. No room for newbies here then eh?

This is the way a lot of forums go. Start off amongst a few gurus. Gather speed. Reach critical mass. Peak membership. Discuss everything. Exhaust all topics. Patrons get bored. Administrators get over zealous. Newbies get snubbed.

Nah nah, only joking guys. You all doing a great job.:tu:

I am also a member of gfxOasis (computer art/icons/desktops/walls etc....) and a couple of other forums that should never ever be mentioned here by name (but I haven't visited those for almost a year now)

As long as you dont bring it back to life I am fine with that's OK it would never make it up the stairs. A couple of aviation ones, chetnet and a couple of bridal ones (market research), but principally here.

The Dalek - I'm too tired to be nesting quotes.

But Dalek's can fly.

Anyway, that's just me going off topic again. So I believe I'll shut up.

I couldn't list the number I'm a member of, I open 3 forums as my homepages in FF, but I regularly post on about 6 day to day.

I do not 'belong to' any forum. I'm a member of a few which I only visit when I require help on a certain (tech) subject. This is the only one I post regularly on.

I'm a super mod of a very small distributed computing team, I'm also a member of about 2 other forums not including this one. I visit and post on this one the most since it usually has something going that I want to talk about ;)

I visit a few progressive dance music and production forums and also some IT and computer forums.
This forum is where I spend most of my time though and the people here make it more of a community too.
Its a great place for not only getting help but meeting loads of cool people too.
