I think he should find another one - then strap them onto his shoes and be taken for a walk.

Seriously, what do I do with it? Just sling it out the front door I suppose.

Imagine my joy when I saw that, out of the corner of my eye, trying to creep past me.

I could hear it's footsteps :disturbd:

You let that go free??!
That doesn't look like a regular British spider to me, more like an Australian funnel web - that spider kills unless you have antidote.

It's just a normal house spider, they are good for the house, they will eat ants, flys, and moths. If I see one on my living room floor I just leave it. Killing them will let the ant population grow in your house.

We call them Cyrils and Raists is only a tiddler. I would rather have one of these than all those wretched flies and ants.

Tip leave a towel over the side of the bath so they can get out:cool:

Well, unless it was a flying ant, I'm not sure how it would end up in the spider web.

That spider looks like a normal "petrafyus mygrannyus" one, who knows it may even be preggo & holding lots of babies to unleash on your unsuspecting bed....

So, what you done with it?
Is it squished, squashed or roaming the wilds freely?

Don't want to worry you, but I tried to find out how many babies the average spider has and could only find this after a short search...

Baby Spiders

The female spider spins about 8 little balls.

And in each ball there are almost 300 eggs!

Two weeks later we have a lot more baby spiders!

That's 2400 spiderlings...

All hell bent on revenge for the suffering of their mother... :D

I doubt if he'd be worried. Now, William Blake on the other hand . . .

It was one of the set poems for my O-Level Eng Lit. I could quote the whole thing and discourse learnedly on its structure once upon a time. :)

Watch out! You'll set the jungle alight!

Get a cat! Was cleaning up the front of my house this week (becasue its just gone on the market) and flushed a huge (leg spand of at least inch and a half) spider who made it about a foot before the cat pounced on it!
Then she kept batting it until it stopped working... That's cats for you.
