Tomorrow I have an R.E GCSE Exam. Earlier in the week I did a Judaism paper. Tomorrow is Christian Perspectives. Any advice from past students or teachers as to some of the topics which regularly come up and what is likely to be on the paper tomorrow. The exam board is OCR. Thanks

Firstly, Welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy it here and stick around.
:welcome:

Thinking back to mine, I remember that you were often faced with a subject, eg. Euthanasia, Abortion, etc. and you had to put forward views and how they relate to the chriastian aspects.
You are relatively safe if you know the main teachings you are taught in R.E on christianity.

eg. Thou Shalt not kill.

eg. Love thy neighbour

eg. God creates and god takes away (or something like that)

Anyway, all those teachings can be applied to any of the subjects you get given.
Eg. Thou shalt not kill would be going against abortion.
I think there are a few more but I remembered as long as I knew those, it would be OK.

Thats as much as I can recall.
Good luck with it all.

This may be useful...

Try looking here? (http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/re/)
My daughters used that site for various subjects for their GCSE's and found it very helpful.
Good luck!

Don't worry, this is the easiest exam you are ever going to participate in, that exam board will give you a mark for drawing a hot cross bun, and 1 for saying the devil is red, and yet anouther for saying the devil has a fork.

Cant really remember much of what I did for it, Just that I read each of the sections in the Religion book.

........got me an A* :D

This (http://re-xs.ucsm.ac.uk/gcsere/) is an especially good site and one I used when I was doing my RE GCSE, but our course was terrible as the whole two years was about bleeding catholicism, I would have enjoyed the world religions course.
