hi, all i find this site most informative have , i am in ireland dublin i have a ntl 2meg cable and these are the signal strengths i get ,modem is Ambit 120
Downstream Receive Power Level : -2.06 dBmvDownstream SNR : 35.41 dBso Upstream Transmit Power Level : 46.00 dBmv

i read these vary on location , langley , bromley , differant readings are acceptable, so what should i expect if i am in ireland thanking you kindly :)

I doubt Dublin is either. In fact, hasn't ntl sold off it's Ireland operation now ?

Either way the SNR is fine.... (quite good actually) but not sure about the power level....

Both your SNR and downstream power level readings from the CM are fine, I'm glad to say. :) Are you having any problems with your connection?

I think your area is due some upgrades in the not too distant future, is worth mentioning though that you're no longer an ntl customer as the Eire operations have been sold.

Quite sure I saw your area on the upgrades schedule though. Lemme check next time I'm in and I'll let you know what the score is.

Bromley, and very unlikely to get get HD footy anytime soon.
