ok i have been searching around trying to fix this all day and i can find nothing that (exactly) fits my problem.
i am using a stand alone bb modem, usb to pc and ethernet from pc to ps2 (crossover).
now, of the 5 steps to confirm connection i pass the first two (connection and dns) with flying colours, however, the ping fails (it may or may matter, but whenever i play online games from pc i always get a ping of 0) the traceroute test fails(whatever that means??!!??) and the dnas fails with the connection timeout error
i ran the ics wizard and that should be working fine (would any changes to the firewall make a difference?) PLEEEEEEEZ HELP, its getting right down my jap eye
my ps2 is getting an ip of 192.78.78.0
