View Full Version : Why are you online now? (early morning)
Right now there are 22 members online ... and I'm curious to know why, as it's only 7.30am! So, what are you doing here at such a time? Is CF simply the most important thing in your life? :D
I'll kick off ... I had to put an important corporate announcement on our website this morning, so I've been dialled in to work since 6.45. Thought I'd have a nose about the forum before I get breakfast and then drive to the office.
NB If you're reading this during the day or evening, don't tell us why you're online at that time, tell us when you last logged on at a peculiar time of the morning and why!
I've been online all night - since I work nights. :)

Had to call uk online about my still not working internet connection and while I was on hold ,I browse the forum ,plus the fact im working from home I can keep myself entertained whilse installing windows or running diagnosis on clients machines :)

now out of the shower - shaved & shiny, Mrs Gaz is off poorly (you can't be a teacher with no voice) so I am lucky to be getting a lift to work ;)
Because I'm on the early shift this week which means a 5:45 alarm call and a 7:00am start. :(
Im just waiting for my heart to start beating again. then im up and about, and seeing how my work desj is less than a foot from my bed...
I log on here at the strangest of times.. just because i have strange sleeping habbits.
Leaving for a major pub crawl in about 10 minutes ;)
I get in to work 7:45ish every day, CF is one of my homepage tabs.

Im here as ive just got in to work and i usually have a quick look around before i numb my brain with the tedium of the day
finished me shift at 06:00 thought I'd have a nosey whilst waiting for the rest of the 'world' to wake up (got to place some ads in the local rag) and before I crawl 4 foot across the room to me pit :)
just woken up now :)
having a quick browse of the forums before i start the days revision!
I have a quick check before I leave for work at 8.

I usually nip on after I get out the bath - gives me time to dry :D Some mornings this will be around 07:00 am but most mornings I'm drying at around 09:00 am.
Since I'm home revising and Chi is recuperating we tend to have a peak at the news on BBC and see what happened here over night when we wake up in the morning. This means we could be in the users online list anywhere from 6am onwards :( I blame the dog wanting to go out ;)

I am often online between 1 and 3am during holidays as I just can't sleep. If I am in work thehn I dop try to log off around 1 .. 1.30 am when IO am working I often check the forums as soon as I have finished making the packed lunches around 7.30 to 8am..
pop in and out after work in the late evenings
If I get a cushty parking space at work i am often on early whilst having a cuppa after the daily grind of the commute...

Got up at 8AM bleary eyed on a Saturday morning to wait for a special parcel from Dixons.Supposed to arrive between 8-12.Wanna bet it either doesn't arrive or I get it at 11.55AM. :D
Hope it does--It's eldest born's special birthday pressie and she's going back to London on Monday...

Well I got up early this morning as I was waiting for my new laser printer :)
And, as I live on the edge of the local industrial estate, deliveries always come here on the way there - usually around 7am.
Which is good if I'm waiting for something - but bad if I'm trying to get a lie in.

Okay so its a Bank Holiday today.... Why you up early? As for me well, went to bed early and got up at 6:30am. I'll need to go back to bed later today as I am working tonight, so time to make the most of today. :D

I am up early, on my bloody day off, because I get up early every day of the week, so my body just does it argh :(

I was up early-ish because I go in hospital Wednesday and need the house tidy before then, ready for a landlord inspection of the house on Friday. Lot of cleaning :( I was doing the bathroom at 01:00 this morning.

Not sure why I'm still up, I'd planned an early night.
I seem to keep getting sucked into CF.
Perhaps the site should come with a health warning.....
I'm online now cos I've just been nattering with Mr Monkeybreath on the blower and very helpful he was too as usual ;)
Well I'm up at this hour coz I have a sleep problem, if I get a nap on an afternoon I can't sleep on a night, today we had a doze whilst sunbathing and then an hour in bed, so now I'm awake and pouring beer down the neck as some form of sleeping pill / liquid :shrug: ........... 1 or 2 more before bed ;)
Listening to music, and working out the best way to split a 170MB MP3 into individual tracks. Sorted now, and uploaded to MP3 player, so I'm off to bed
I hardly ever sleep been same since I was very young, may go for a lie down or meditate for a while in a hour or so.
I've woken up and cannot get back to sleep. Might try in 20 mins again.
Well still awake lol, tired a little but like normal once I goto bed and try to sleep, I wake back up again. Nothing I am not already accustomed to.
I've just woken up again but this time to the alarm clock. Still very tired.

I woke up at around 06:00 this morning - neighbour having a screaming row with the boyfriend :rolleyes: That's the trouble with having the window open in warm weather. Shortly after the row, a car alarm went off. I shut the window and went back to bed. I'm now up and getting ready for work. Just thought I'd nip on here whilst waiting for the bath to run.

On half term holiday.
Woke at usual time..despite no alarm set.Turned over and went back to sleep.
Woke at 7 am,went back to sleep.
Woke at 8,went back to sleep.
Woke at 8.57 and decided to give up and get up...
Sigh! By the end of the week I will be sleeping through,just in time to have to start getting up at 6 am again. :rolleyes:
I only came on for ten minutes at 9.15 to check my mail.. :rolleyes:

It puzzles me how people wake up so easily. I'll only ever wake up when I'm ready after 10 hours, or if somebody shouts down my earhole. :D
