This was on my list...on things what NOT to buy (it'll impress on her that you've only got a 1 track mind:( ), except under these circumstance:

1. Valentine's day - then it's expected.

2. If she buys it herself, but it's difficult it raise just in case the bad impression is made...

IMO (with 10 years experience :) )

p.s. girls know who lingerie is really bought for when bought by men...they're not stupid creatures you know! :)

Best gift is something from you to her, somethign you have put YOUR thought into, we dont know your girlfriend so its difficult for us to suggest gifts for her.

Why not ask her?You could do it in a roundabout way but I think this might be the best answer. After all we don't know the person that you adore so much.Otherwise ask her best friend(and swear her to secrecy).

From my husband I would love a day of being pampered at a salon or health spa.A day of expensive massages and beauty treatments. But that's my dream.;) Your GF may have different ideas.

Oh yeah, if you can afford it then book her into an expensive place like Vidal Sassoon to get her hair done, she'll love that. :)

Bungy jumping?Hope she strangles you with the rope if you go through with that idea.
No wonder men are so hopeless at gift giving.

:smokin: Personally, I would get her a real diamond necklace (even if it only had one small diamond), at whatever price I could afford. I think that quality, not quantity, counts. It dosn't matter that the stone may not be big, just that it's real (imo).
Having said that, the pearl necklace I bought my wife was made of cultured pearls (you don't want to know the price of proper pearls)
....still, at least they wern't plastic....:D

i agree. nooffense scooby but when i read this i thought "cubic zirconia, isnt that like a cheap mans diamond?"

i still think you should get a diamond ring for her left hand ;) (that is unless u havent already :p)
