Heard the results of yet another useless survey (I`ve never been asked either) that there is over £3.2 billion worth of bought and used once only gadgets in British households.
I`ve looked around mine and I`ve got a Foot Spa that never gets used and The Sandwich maker that came in the set with the toaster and kettle never gets used.

My sandwich toaster gets used on a regular basis, 1 - 2 times a week, sadly the user does not clean it so often!! (damn teenagers!! :rolleyes:
However, my food processor - well I couldn't tell you when that last saw the light of day!!

The filter coffee machine that furred up after about 4 goes - it's so much easier using a cafÃÃâ€*’©tiere .:)

i wonder how many people on this site will own up to having a sinclair c5 or something similar ;)

i am a gadget freak, i get gadgets to collect, i just love them...

sandwich toaster (doesn't make toast or sandwiches)
raptou (replaced with a knife)
deep fat fryer (oven chips instead)
coffee maker (we use nescafe)
food processor (takes longer to clean than to use)
rice thingy (dunno what you do with it)
barbecue cleaning stuff (yeh like anyone cleans barbies)
video camera (batteries never charged)

funnily enough I don't buy ANY gadgets just for the sake of it.

that includes a Palm PDA (excuse calendar, TV Remote, Organiser, portable version of ACT!)
3 tier steamer (excellent veggies)
Filter coffee maker (fresh ground, fresh filtered, best coffee around)

its a thing with blades and a handle we ordered from qvc...
you put a potato in it , push the handle and mash comes out one end and the skin the other...you can put a boiled egg in it push the handle and the egg comes out and the shell stays in.....it chops veg , cheese etc too it actually works fantastic but it takes hours to clean and slices your knuckles off trying to dry it!

actually, I want a pocket TV... I actually have a valid use for one lol

setting up some security cameras... the only thing is the pocket TV I want MUST have a composite video input

I've got a Brother Label Printer somewhere, it was used quite alot untill the tape cartridge ran out and then I couldn't find anywhere that sold them(that was in '97 before i had the internet).

.......I wonder if there is anyone online selling the damn things

I bought an espresso coffee maker, which I can't use as I lost the lid you have to out over the coffee when the machine is generating the steam for the milk...

Also had device to convert a normal bath into a jacuzzi. Basically an air pump attached via a hose to a mat with holes in that sat on the bottom of the bath.

I remember when you used it, the bath was lovely for the 15 seconds it stayed warm..

seedy roms? whats that, mucky chips on a computer?

George fomran grill, no matter how much I clean it it still feels greasy......so I dont use it, i prefer the fat to stay in my burgers ;)
