Looks possible. Are you on the cable modem? If so, click here: http://192.168.100.1 (may need to reboot modem for that link to work).

Username is "root" and Password is "root". Once in, on the left goto Operater Configuration and look at the Maximum Downstream/Upstream field. What's it say?

NTL really suck now, i suppose to be on 2mb im on 300k and they dorn't no why they keep boosting me, but all i get is register your computor and put your pid number in and password, they say there is major work going on, but said its finnished now, dorn't know why i should be paying for 2mb when im only on 300 K

probably served the file that the site test with from your local cache :)

try deleting temporary internet files and running it again.

computer sorted now back on 2mb, C/S was puzzled, poor chap was on 1 hour tring to sort it,all sorts of tests hits, and comp would not have it , problem was with my main computer, the one upstairs, on a wireless router was pushing 2mb but the one downstairs the main 1 was pushing 500 kb so i formated my comp,im on xp, only took a hour back on line now 2mb:) the chaps name was gareth a welsh chap, thanxs for trying, the fault at my end this time:o .

While we're all doing it:

Download Failed (1) 1.34 Mbps
which is around 172.08 KB/s

Download Failed (1) Your connection is performing poorly (45% efficiency) for a 3 Mbps service.

:bigcry:

However, the other test I use gives:

Tue, 12 Apr 2005 17:40:26 UTC
1st 128K took 468 ms = 280068 Bytes/sec = approx 2330 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 594 ms = 220660 Bytes/sec = approx 1836 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 609 ms = 215225 Bytes/sec = approx 1791 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 672 ms = 195048 Bytes/sec = approx 1623 kbits/sec

 There are obviously pitfalls surrounding different speed test sites.
