the university of wyoming and audible magic have been testing technologys for the past year that blocks file transfers that contain digital signitures
but they(audible magic)have now left there partnership with the university and teamed up with the security firm palisade
audible magic is using its side of the technology to look inside data being transfered between users and if the digital signiture of the file matches from there database it will automatically stop the transfer

will isp's welcome this bandwidth has always been an issue and now they have a chance to reduce that traffic but will they loose customers ?
