Slow Browsing

Is anyone experiencing the same problems as me.
I have just returned from hols, and am unaware of any problems apart from current round of viruses.
I have 600K service which really flies during the day. Unfortunately after dinner time pages take ages to DL. I am unable to check with CS as I am not patient enough to sit on the phone for 15 mins or more. swo can anyone throw any light on this?

Is it just surfing the web thats the problem?, or are you suffering with download things as well?

Browsing for me seems particularly slow tonight, seemed fine last night. Activity lights on my modem seem to be on a lot so may just be local.
Downloads look full speed though.
1Mb connection in woking

Just tried doing a traceroute to the web proxy Im using and the DNS lookup is very slow.

Speed test is as expected for 1MB connect:

1st 128K took 1062 ms = 123420 Bytes/sec = approx 1027 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 1071 ms = 122383 Bytes/sec = approx 1018 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 1072 ms = 122269 Bytes/sec = approx 1017 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 1062 ms = 123420 Bytes/sec = approx 1027 kbits/sec

1st 128K took 1061 ms = 123536 Bytes/sec = approx 1028 kbits/sec
2nd 128K took 1072 ms = 122269 Bytes/sec = approx 1017 kbits/sec
3rd 128K took 1071 ms = 122383 Bytes/sec = approx 1018 kbits/sec
4th 128K took 1062 ms = 123420 Bytes/sec = approx 1027 kbits/sec
