Anyone know why I have a problem?
Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-GG Broadband Router (includes something called "speedboost), has 4 wired ports ethernet ports, plus wireless (obviously)
Laptop has Linksys WPC54GS Wireless-G Notebook Adapter (PCMIA card also with Speedbooster). 100% signal achieved (lappy being tested only 2 metres from router).
Lappy runs Win XP Pro SP2, fully patched, connecting using VPN to my office's Windows SBS2000 server (on which I have full remote access admin rights). Home connection is ntl cable 300kbps (cheapskate I know), work is 1Mbps ADSL Claranet.
Connection runs fine for transfer of multiple files if I plug the lappy into ethernet on the router. Connection drops if I use the wireless after around a minute).
Any thoughts?
