So what are YOU doing for red nose day?
You already know what I'm doing ;):)

I came into work with red hair today! :D
...the only problem is that the red hair dye is crap and didn't take on my brown hair!... :( ...tho my hair is nice a silky! :D
EDIT: we're having a dress down day in work, everyone gives £2 :) I think there was talk of a large scale raid of a group company over the road too!!!...going over there with RND buckets to squeeze the red juice out of the ties! :p:

yeah, it made me quite ill........ :erm:
Our headteacher is been a right cow and she has not allowed us to to anything major for red nose day. Several of us had organised something and then she cancels it but does not directly tell the people who organised.
All we are doing is putting a bit of money in a tub and selling a few cakes.

At least you are doing something - and THAT'S the main thing :)

But at least you are still raising some money, and that's the important thing.
Having said that, she does sound like a right miserable biffer!

see, to a student mind that means "do everything, get every single person in the school involved"...
...they can't suspend the entire school :) that's how we got around it back in the day ;)

My kids skool wont let them wear their red noses. Something to do with obscuring vision!!!!!! What a load of tosh. Mind you it is a catholic school!!!!!!!

i thought things were banned in all catholic schools to do with red nose day, cos of something about abortions?
of course, health and safety is bound to come into it somewhere :rolleyes:

Erm no, it is because it is the schools patron saints day next friday and they had to choose, so you can guess who won!!!!!! No they did RND when I was at school, she is just a miserable old cow who does not have a sense of humour!!!!
Im not doing anything for red nose day, working for myself means im in my room all day on my own os wearing a red nose would be kinda strange, have dontaed though, and plan to get some tins and chill out thi sevening in front of the TV...

Well I shall be in ITU if they decide no to canncel me at the last minute again, So I will be wearing my red nose on the unit!!!! I have already given £10 through the agency, so I have done my contribution this time!

I think we're still collecting. I should think the total amount will be posted when we close collections.
If you'd like I'll ask the 'treasuror' to see how much the total stands at.

AFAIK, we haven't had any today. But the total is higher than posted in the news item. I'm off out now for a few hours so I'll update later.
I'm running a school disco later - probably use the Red face paint - doesn't sound like it's worth using the Gel when I have dark hair :(
Probably watch Kim, Edith and Ade on Fame Academy after the disco.

You can buy UV Gel that turns your hair fluorescent.
