View Full Version : Loss of broadband & TV - Swindon
Hi,
Anyone in Swindon (particularly Stratton) without Broadband & TV this evening?
Got home from work to find a power cut, so went out!
Come home about 8, electricity back on, but ntl TV & Broadband not working, phone is okay.
The SACM keeps re-booting itself, then the only lights on are Enet & a flashing DS, no Sync or Rdy at all.
Cheers

I'm in (sc)Abbey Meads, and broadband is fine here... haven't got telly nor phone with ntl anymore, so can't comment on those.
Feel free to pop round if you wanna watch some telly ;)
Been fine in Eldene all night, Broadband, Phone and Tv
Fine here in Lower Stratton :)
No problem in Grange Park either..
btw, did anybody in Swindon get their BB upgrade today?

Did you phone Faults or Tech Support at all about this?
Maybe the powercut fried something.
Hi,
I didn't have time to phone faults or tech support last night as I had other things to attend to (thats not a dig at anyone by the way, just fact)
But when I come home from work this eve, everything is back to normal, broadband fine & tv back on, so whatever it was, it's all fine now :)
No problem in Grange Park either..
btw, did anybody in Swindon get their BB upgrade today? I got mine on Tuesday, but only after doing it online, it wasn't automatically done.
No speed upgrade for me yet :(
I've even tried the online upgrade, but it comes back with a message (can't remember wording) asking me to phone up, I'll try again when I get home.

I got an error message aswell then trying online. In the end I called CS on the 0800 number (option 5) and they upgraded me straight away, 10 seconds later the modem rebooted and I was on 2MB. :)
