Prisoners at a British jail could soon get the chance to test their comic skills out on a captive audience.
Winchester jail has employed stand-up comedians to teach inmates how to crack a joke and deliver a killer one-liner in comedy workshops.
"This teaches inmates communication, powers of empathy and humility," a jail insider told the Sun.
Four hundred prisoners will have the opportunity to attend courses, which are being funded by public money and bar chain Jongleurs.
