Could well happen. A brand new TVR under £10k :) The supersport version is bound to give the Heyabusa, R1 and Fireblade a run for their money. The urban sport doesn't look too shabby either.

In case it asks you to register, the text says:

British sports car manufacturer TVR's next model is set to have only two wheels - because it could be a motorcycle! The new owner of the Blackpool firm, Russian Nikolai Smolensky, is a big bike fan and suggested the idea when he first took over.

A company spokesman said: "It's something that could happen. If there is enough interest in one, we will probably do it."

These pictures show two options for the TVR bike, produced by one of the firm's former designers, Glynn Kerr. The red one is a high-performance rival to another British machine, the Triumph 955, and the legendary Honda Fireblade. In order to compete, the TVR would require a power output of more than 150bhp, a 0-60mph sprint time of around three seconds and a maximum speed in excess of 160mph.
But while a superbike is most in keeping with TVR's image, an unfaired urban machine could be a possibility, too. These types of motorcycle are increasing in popularity, as their engines' mix of a large capacity and a high torque figure are great around town.
