Is all okay exept that central station can t load
"central station couldn't by connected. Please check your definitions."(or something like that),
i'm using a cross cable to connetc my ps2 directly to my pc.
the diagnostic works
i can play metal black twisted online
i can´t play socom 2 cause central station doesn't loads
What can i do?

hi and :welcome: to the site , shouldnt you be connecting straight into the stb / sacm and not direct to your pc :)

theyve done it with ICS and a cross over cabe so it should work.
are you using a STB or a SACM?

when i said into the pc i mentioned the ethernet adaptor (i have a via rhine II fast ethernet adaptor).

you should have got a CD with the PS2 network adaptor. You use that to set up the account

yes i've done it. i set it with ip 192.168.0.2 mask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.0.1 (my ethernet adapter ip). it passed the diagnostic.

at what point does it fail? in the DNAS authentication?

nope.i go to the menu where i can edit my settings watch help movies and there is an option caled Central Station. it starts loading tnen it loads the save in the memory card. after it when i press ok it shows the message error. i can't write the message cause i'm portuguese. unless you understand portuguese.

i know this is from new zealand but it explains how to set up cnetral station manually.

nope. thats not it. i already dona that. it is the nad config. the problem is the central station.

i dont know what to suggest then.
You didnt take much time to read it and the manual configuration section is quitte long and detailed
i recently recieved a new Central Station set up CD so i dont know if something has changed recently

nad = Network acess disk. the cd that comes with ps2 network adapter. it as 2 features. creating the definitons to connected ps2 to the net and central station where you input the model em serial of your ps2. They are 2 different thing. one is the config other is the central station and my problem is only in central station.

as i said, i had 2 NAD's. One was sent to me about 6 weeks ago and it is totally different to the old one

i used the old NAD and connected to central station but didnt bother trying to log in
I used the new NAD and connected to central station and logged in

if i remember correctly in the NAD instruction book there is a support phone number you can call

you dont go to central station until you have configured it

how can i register without entering?
:mad: when i play socom 2, it wont let me log in to the actual universe because it says my account has been disabled!!! it the says tht i have to log on to central station to sort out the problem and i dont no how to un-disable my account :mad:

I seem to remember being sent a disc for central station (i guess it was an updated version or something as it came with some letter about an upgrade or something, cant remember exactly it was a while ago) but as i rarely used it i forgot the pin/password for mine.
maybe your using the older disc or something..
I may still have the disc floating around somewhere if you want ill have a quick look at it and tell you what version ive got. (thats if i can find it)
