Do i need a phone to get broadband

Hi there just a quick question my daughter is moving into a house with no telephone etc belive it has had ntl before,they do not want a phone in the house but broadband only can this be done with anyone thanks... :)

you can have broadband by itself :)

You can get cable BB whether or not you have a phone line in there.

If you get a BT line, then you will at least have the choice of all the ADSL providers on the market (if you get an ntl line, you won't have that choice)
