Hi uni,
The first part of the numbers refers to the time i.e. in your case 13.01.2005 and the others number after that are the time hours minutes and seconds etc and the last number refers to the severity of the error in this case 7 and 3.
So to break this down
0501130338177 = 13.01.05 at 03.38am and 17 seconds your modem had a severity 7 error.
0501130338163 = 13.01.05 at 3.38am and 16 seconds your modem recovered from the severity 3 error.
From memory 7 is information 3 is critical so what this basically means is there was jump in the downstream signal level at that particuar time but was resolved 1 second later.
If this is happening regularly then it maybe time for a call to NTL to arrange an Engineer to correct the signal levels or you could post the results from the signal tab from these diagnostics pages here the next time it happens.

Power levels look to be ok although bear in mind they are a snapshot at the time they are taken.
Although with the amount of frequent drop outs and loss of connections I would suggest maybe you need to call tech support and get an engineer to check your power levels in more detail.
