The Getaway - Black Monday: Any good?

I have just seen this on TV. Looks pretty damn good. Has anyone played it? What do you think of it?

Not played that one, but I've played the 1st Getaway. The London setting was quite cool, but I didn't think too much of the game itself.

I got recently still not as good as GTA but there is a lot more in this than the first. Much improved graphics engine as well. I enjoy it.

First one I got bored with rather quicky, think I may try the new one once its in pre-owned.

its a very intriguing game the story line is solid, the graphics are not the prettyiest, the controls have a very 'stiff' tendecy on movement, very much a trademark on the first game.

its quite tough in places, i got stuck on chapter 15 and i am currently stuck on 18, as you progress its hard but its one of those games which keeps you on your toes.

I got it preowned as was not sure it was worth the full asking price.

I still think that the grand theft auto series, dominates the ps2 as the king of that genre of games.

Just the latest offering from Rockstar has a few issues as they have moved from a few home truths and old methods, although it makes for more to do in the game, I prefer Vice City over San Andreas, in some places.
