don't see anything on NTL website - is this for real (sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere)

New NTL packages

"NTL will launch three broadband packages at the start of next year.
A £17.99 per month 1 Mbps package will come with a 5GB usage allowance, a 2Mpbs package will cost £24.99 and have a 30GB monthly download limit and a £37.99 per month 3Mbps service will have a 40GB monthly download limit.
Existing custumers must pay £25 to upgrade."

Yes it's for real. It won't be on the NTL web site as they haven't been launched yet. 'Start of next year' is NTL-speak for 'sometime next year'. There have been numerous threads here discussing the limits - I think a couple are still running.

I got a broadband leaflet saying "300k for £15.99 - offer ends 28 Feb"

So the new packages must start on the 1st of March. :)

I also recieved that flyer but on the ntl web site http://www.home.ntl.com/icat/broadbandit is offering 300k for £8.99, 750k £12.49, for 3 months,1.5meg £18.99 per month for the first 3 months!

It seems that when ntl is concerned the lef hand does not know what the right hand is saying.

Poppycock.

There are two different offers.

The 12 month one and the three month one. You're trying to suggest that running more than one offer at once is incompetence...try telling that to ASDA!

It really makes me laugh the way some people will grasp at ANYTHING to 'prove' that ntl is incompetent. So the latest is you can't run more than one offer at any one time otherwise you're incompetent. I am almost speechless.

Actually there are more than 2.............

12 months free phone line rental is also available (at least it is locally) It is fair to say that different offers have different appeal to different subscribers.
