... your life is already mapped out for you from the day you are born to the day you die? To some extend I think it is because I think all things happen for a reason. I mean how can someone be walking down a road and a tree fall on them and kill them. Yet someone can get hit by a train going 110mph and live to tell the tale with not much lasting damage.

Everyone can either go with the random flow of life.

Or they can stand up take control and learn from there own mistakes but make there own roads in life.
