I was 3 pounds 4 ounces when I was born, but this little girl was less than a pound!!

I find stuff like this fascinating, and wondered if anyone here was either a small baby themselves or has had a small one.

Actually, lets find out the two extremes... I'd like to know of the unusually heavy ones among you too ;)

love to help, but I was 4lb 4oz ;)

Apart from the obvious sense of something amazing that such a small baby could survive (and the slightly larger sibling), I also found it fascinating that they have had laser treatment to correct vision problems.

- bless :)

You're only 4lb 5oz now ;)

I was only 3lb-odd when I was born (but I am a twin) and look at me now!

Well, I have a friend who's a midwife. She delivered a 14-pounder a couple of months ago. ouch!

I was 'average' - 7lb 7ozs, but I have given birth to a 10lb 3 1/2oz lump! It was ok really as I was unconscious at the time (pre epidural days!) but the next was a 'petite' 9lb 13 ozs and I didn't feel a thing! :D
