Cancelling my tv services?

Hey does anyone know how long it takes to cancel my tv package with NTL? I,ve been with NTL for about 7 years but im working for Sky tv now so i get free Sky and i prefer the Sky tv side of things...Do i have to give like 30 days notice to cancel my tv package? Im keeping the boradband and phone line with NTL, just doing away with the tv side of things...Any info would be appreciated :tu:

I think that they can simply disconnect you from the TV service if you call them up. If they can't then you will probably have to give 30 days notice.

I'm sure one of our resident NTL bod's can give you a "policy" answer though :D

ring em up you will have to give them 30 days notice unless you are moving to a non cabled area :)

I think it's 30 days. Phone them up and then confirm it with a letter.

I have just done exactly as you describe - cancelled TV but retained Broadband and Phone. Rang them Tuesday - was told the TV would be taken off by Thursday and they are due to pick up the STB next week sometime.
