Good luck mate, I hope all goes well for you.

Everybody gets nervous about an impending interview but that's all it is - nerves about what is coming up.

Try to remember that the worst bit about job interviews is the waiting for them to start and the anticipation of what might, or might not, happen. Tell yourself once you get into the interview room that there is nothing more that you can do at that point so there is no use worrying about what might be, and also remember that the worst is over.

Relax, enjoy yourself and give it your best shot - I'm sure you'll be fine.

chill - you can only

be punctual
awake & alert
dressed & groomed appropriately - if it's for a heavy metal band, long hair, stubble & leather is ok ;)

- big clichÃÃâ€*’© - just be yourself :) - (at least never lie).

other hints maybe more controversial, include

don't talk about money at a first interview, unless asked.

think about your reply to any question, don't just blurt the first thing that comes to mind.

If I get it - and I know I can do the job and I know I'll be the best candidate there; shortlist of only 3 or 4 - it'll mean moving to the other end of the country - so I'm telling myself the nerves are just anticipating the stress that moving house and trying to get NTL to transfer my BB connection is going to bring !!!

But if anyone has a spare rabbit's foot knocking about the place ..... ;) !

assuming you know about the job then tell em what you know , if you are not sure then dont try and bs as they will see through you as if you are made of cling film , be yourself and above all be honest , no matter how much you want the job it is not worth bs'ing your way into it only to be found out later ;) , and last of all --- good luck and make sure you let us know the outcome :D :D :D :D
