Hi
I'm getting an intermittent problem on broadband in the Glasgow area (G66). When I click on a link I get an error message saying: The document contains no data. Next time I try to click through and I get access OK.
Any ideas?
Ken
Glasgow
could be the proxy your going through is having issues.
try using one of these listed here
proxy (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/kb/84/list-of-ntl-proxy-servers-new-format)
because you are in glasgow.....one of the RENFREW proxys should be used

have you tried ctrl f5 and see if that clears it :) , as for the proxies , i would just find one that works , and keep checking back regular to make sure you dont need it anymore :)
would that be on firefox by anychance i sometimes get that dunno why
it is usually caused by adblocking software. To fix...
type about:config in the address bar
then find "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" and set the value to true....
problem solved :)

Thanks guys
You're right, I am using Firefox.
I've used the about:config instruction to change that value and I'll see how it goes from here.
I'll also check on the proxy
Thanks again

Ooops, got cocky there... how do I go about setting the new proxy?
Under Firefox it's set at the moment to Direct Internet Connection in the Options>General tab
