 Hi guys, got kind of a tricky problem at home. I've been using broadband 1.5 for 3 weeks and was satisfied... until last week... I got a serious problem. After booting my pc, i can browse internet for 10 minutes (using IE, firefox or Opera) before I loose the connection on port 80... though msn is still working for example. Os is XP sp1, i tracked spywares with AdAware, got norton etc... If i reboot the pc, i'm back online... for 10 minutes (10mn full speed, no problem).
anybody got an idea ?

:welcome:

Have you tried leaving the system to see if browsers burst back into life after a while?
Any router involved?
While you have this problem, can you telnet - eg at cmd prompt "telnet www.ntlworld.com 80" ?

My system has a similar problem, except that all traffic locks up for several minutes. I believe my problem is probably related to an aging Mobo (good excuse for a new PC!)

HTH

Hi, thx, only a modem, Ntl. I have to reboot to get back on line :-( Telnet is working in the 10 first minutes... after I lose everything on port 80. I have tested without firewall, same occurs, i checked everything launched at startup, looks normal and usual stuff. Think I will format and reinstal (yeah... no ghost :-(... If you have any idea...
