Lots of pings

Instead of getting a dozen "rpc remote procedure call" per minutes like last week, today something has changed. I am getting a dozen "pings" per minute, sad to say, its all from NTL users.

Is this a new worm or is this the same blaster worm in another guise???

....and port scans, and 'syn' something or other attacks
and things seem very slow online as well:confused:

If you "Ping" Trough Command Prompt (XP) it should only return 4 results with the IP address and the transfer rate of data. If it is "Timed Out" it means the website is not recieving the data.
