STB looses BB connection

I have a Pace diTV2000 STB that supplies my BB.

Most days it looses its return path & needs a reboot to get BB back. It has happened twice today & it's getting rather annoying.

It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the BB useage as today I wasn't downloading anything.
Any ideas?

I've been told by ntl CS that broadband dropping connection onece or tiwce a day is nothing unusual :disturbd: Me thinks they've fobbed me off.

If this has only just started happening, then see if it does the same thing over two or three days. If so, especially if your TV piccy starts to be a tad suspect, call faults. If it's a one off issue, it would go away

NB if you are using any form of router or something between your STB and PC, disconnect that to rule out any problem.

I had a simlar problem - went away when I got a nice new Samsung. No problems since.

russell@home - You can safely give your STB MAC or smart card number to BBKing. He does work for ntl, & is very helpful :)
