Inspired by the 'Branded' thread, what's your favourite/least favourite aftershave (and for kink and co ;)) or perfum?

I'll usually wear anything by Hugo Boss, normally I use 'Hugo number 1' (originally released in 1985 but still popular today :)) but these days it's 'Motion'.

Least favourite....would be any cheap stuff that your dad would have worn in the 80s such as Brut, Insignia, Old Spice etc etc....

Chloe Narcisse for day and Opium by YvesSaintLaurent for bed.

My doederant is unperfumed so as NOT to compete.

hello Russ :wavey:

Well.. as already mentioned.... it has to be Tempore Donna by Laura Biagiotti or Casmir by Chopard

Aftershave? Sorry..... but it causes a rash so i use Neutrogena Body oil :naughty: ;)

lol at Russ re: the oldie ones - I did use Old Spice a long time ago - but Brut - never - (or Hai KaratÃÃâ€*’© :D).

Boots :afire: :grind:
They were the only local place i could get Tempore Donna... but they stopped it  and now i have to go to specialist shops.... the only main store that sells it is Selfridges :erm: So the price is hiked :(
Available online in some places though.... as is Camir..... so Boots has lost my custom.

Now if only i had more common tastes in perfume... :naughty: :p

But when you guys say Aftershave.. do you actually mean aftershave or the Eau De Toilette?
The aftershave is like battery acid in comparison and as a woman, having to smell it on a man... it hurts my nose :erm:

The aftershave is the cheaper option..... but is that why you'd use it, or do you actually prefer it? :)

I've not tried the Eau de Toilette type, but I agree most aftershaves are too over the top. If find using "proper" soap & a brush I don't get any irritation, or nasty little rashes :erm:

if I needed to, I would use one of the gel type, which don't smell so overpowering. :p

gillette for both. i dont believe in all these fancy aftershaves/EDTs etc. some smell positively awful...

i hardly ever use aftershave come to think of it.

least favourite stuff would have to be old spice or lynx. both get up my schnozzle and make me sneeze

Lynx for deoderant, and Polo is my number 1 choice for aftershave. I have got loads of aftershaves, but no cheapos. I get through more Polo than anything else though.

As long as it's not overdone.... but that's the same for any perfume or EDT.... don't like aftershaves :( But then i don't use them.. just have to smell them ;)

OOoh to keep the thread alive

Deoderant RightGuard - gel stick - remember to wind these down a bit before you fly or they ooze over the lid
After Shave - Clinique Happy or Ralph Lauren Romance
also not to be without Nivea Visage as an aftershave balm. Does wonders to sooth aftershave burn.
Shaving Cream - Body Shop shave cream - fantastic - outraged when they changed packaging, had packaging problems and were out of stock for 4 weeks. What is my facial hair supposed to stop growing while you sort out your packaging / supply chain?

I have always liked using aftershave, even in the days when your only choice was Old Spice or Old Spice,

My loved ones buy most of my aftershave so I use several different ones.
At the moment I have,

Hugo Boss
Issey Miyake
Davidoff
Givenchy
Yardley Gold ( for work)

Quite like Paco Rabanne, Chanel, Calvi Klein...... Kouros to strong for me.

I thought toilette (or faire sa toilette) related to the act of washing/grooming. So eau de toilette, is more like grooming water.

Ah there is a certain musky smell of men that is wonderful-however they then go overboard with the Lynx or brut and ruin it .

There are some mornings I go into the bathroom after my husband and I'm hanging out of the bathroom window because his deoderant is so overpowering.

Unperfumed deoderant please lads with aftershave .There is nothing worse than the war between deoderant and aftershave.:nono:

As I can't smell I don't wear anything like aftershave, or deoderant. I don't wash with soap either, but women comment on how nice I smell.

Women should be banned from putting perfum on their necks and ears, it tastes bloody awful!

I always tend to go for the spray bottles. Think they are the eau de toilette versions instead of the aftershave.
The aftershaves get used up way too quickly.
Plus my face is quite sensitive so I prefer to use a aloe vera balm on that.

An ex of mine used to wear that. Nice stuff :)

Mine are Armani, and Dunhill edition, but I rarely use the stuff these days. I kind of went off it when I realised that some people are actually allergic to perfumes (my father's girlfriend is one of them). She avoids busy shopping streets because of it. Seeing you don't normally motice your own perfume/after shave that much anyway, I sort of stopped using it.
