For many weeks now, since i got back from holiday i have not had a Connection, and been messed around by Tech Support as well, well here is my problem

My modem sync lights and rdy are not on at all, only the enet and d/s lights are on, with the d/s flashing. After a while then the sync light comes on, with the rdy flashing. then the modem resets it's self and repeats the process.

NTL say that the problem is there end, and said it will be fixed by Monday, it is not monday and the only way i can get this message through is on my sisters comp so if anyone here who works at the tech support at NTL can help me, please do :D, or anyone who can really.

Machine specs: 2.5ghz p4, 512mb ram, windows xp,

I live in the Luton area (LU2) and have the 600, now 750 connection

Thanks in Advance

I'm happy to confirm that BBKing is NTL staff and you are safe to send your information to him by Private Message. For your own security please don't post any such information on the open forum however.

@ Kev, helpful new NTL staffers are always very welcome at Cable Forum, could you check your PMs please. :) :tu:

Hmm i dont have a fix time.

Been off for 2 weeks? This hasent been up for that long...

Best bet : Wait for the outage to go > call NTL > get a techhy out

:-)
- edit

Get me the MAC. Ill check it , i cant book a tech but i can get a better idea of whats going on.

i have already had a tech out, but he could do anything, or could'nt be arsed. I can't stay, i got to go now, as i need to get home.

I had a similar problem since the start of september- with the ready light just flashing all the time. I was told it was a bad upstream power level. It was very frustrating as we were without the internet for almost 3 weeks.

It sorted itself out last week though. Or maybe something was fixed somewhere.

I can now also confirm that KevAmiga is an ntl staffer, so you can share your account details with him by PM if you want to accept his offer to help. :)

i am happy to say that its back now, i think the lutn-lutn-ubr-1 or whatever is fixed now, so anyone else with the problem should be sorted :D
