Could be a proxy issue - look at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/cmtips/trancache.html for some useful info

I can't access that site either. I also cannot access http://gprt.proboards20.com or any Proboard forum on server 20. I've tried contacting ntlworld but their customer service is useless.

Did you contact Customer Service, or Technical Support? You'll get more useful information from Technical Support (0845 650 0121 for your area).

My friend called Technical Support a couple of days ago and they hung up on him...twice! He was being polite too! I am under the impression that ntl are only interested in money. The more customers they get the better, but they conveniently forget about their existing customers. For the past three years ntl seem to be getting progressively worse.

Tell him to try and get a name next time.

Same here, I can reach both in seconds. However I am having problems with this one. www.authentium.co.uk (http://www.authentium.co.uk/)
It is not a major problem because it is just a UK mirror of the US site and is hosted over there. I can reach the .com site but even that is a little slow ATM.

I can't get that one either, on a BT ADSL connection, so it's not an ntl issue!

I did have a problem with this site ( CF ) after SP2 install. I have had a desktop icon for CF for a long while but for some reason never added cableforum to favourites. After SP2 upgrade the desktop icon would not work correctly so I added the forum to faves' and the fault was cured with the added bonus of a nice little CF icon.:)

I have that problem ALOT
But its intermittant, one of the websites is aria.co.uk another is my web host www.alivewww.com. Which is a right git cuz 1. it means I cant access my email, it just times out, and 2 i cant order stuff form aria, the website times out :D but most other sites are perfectly fine.
It MUST be an NTL routing issue that they just wont bother to fix.
Oh also it effects Live For Speed master server list.
So its not exactly a small problem considering the amount of sites, servers this effects on me. This will eventually make me move to a BT based broadband as I am getting fed up with it.
Ive tried different proxy servers, even the new ones but it makes no difference.
