Cable light goes off about once a day?

I'm surfing normally, then all or a sudden the cable light on my terayon cable moned will go out and i'll lose the connection. I then have to turn the power off to the moem for about 1 min then put it back on, then everything works fine again.

Which area are you in?

I am in Surrey and that happened to me for a few days about a month back. I left my cable modem turned off over night, then turned it on the next afternoon and have had no problems (touch wood) since.
