View Full Version : Are the proxies...OFF
Hi,
I have noticed recently that it seems the proxies are off, I went to Robin's site and used the identify proxy tools and each time they came back as 'not a proxied http'
any idea's?

Try here Proxy Change (http://www.cableforum.co.uk/kb/84/list-of-ntl-proxy-servers-new-format) ;)
They are still on here (Luton Proxy server).
Btw the second tester http://www.broadband-help.com/cm_diagnose.asp?init=1 says mine isnt going through a proxy, even though it shows my proxy IP as the IP address, so it appears to be innacurate

BizBoSorry Bizbo, but you are accessing this site via "brhm-cache-4.server.ntli.net" so they don't appear to be off for you.
Check this page (http://romulas.zmnt.co.uk/forum/vars.asp).

load balanced proxy servers i'd imagine, nothing to worry about
Broadband-Help gives me the proxy ip, but says it's not proxied - maybe it's not accurate with transparent proxies.
http://all-nettools.com/toolbox - this one is accurate - reporting the proxy (different site, different proxy) and the real IP.

You use a group, which one you get is determined by the ip of the site you visit.
Nice checker Richard, but you really should link to our list of proxies, not Robins :)
