View Full Version : NTLs incompetance, can I ammend?

I have been billed by NTL for a second telephone line, when in fact earlier this year I was fighting to get my money back for the year they had over billed me for a line I cancelled one year earlier.

this last bill came with the additional telephone line on it, and additions and removals, which really don't add up.

I will try to recreate it here:

DIGITAL BASE PACK & 2 TELEPHONE LINES 27/8 - 26-9 £26.50 26.50
NON-DIRECT DEBIT HANDLING CHARGE 27/8 - 26-9 £2.00 2.00

PARTIAL MONTH CHARGES (ADDITIONS)
DIGITAL BASE PACK & 2 TELEPHONE LINES 18/8 - 26/8 £26.50 7.69

PARTIAL MONTH CREDITS (REMOVALS)
DIGITAL BASE PACK & 2 TELEPHONE LINES 18/8 - 26/8 £19.00 5.52

I DO NOT have a second telephone line. could I pay like last months bill

and add a leter stating why I am not paying what they have billed me for.
this does not include telephone calls and packages like sports.

Would NTL accept this?

p.s. why I ask is that I have tried to contact NTL a few times now and after 15 mins of waiting to speak to someone I just hang up, as 15 mins is just too long to wait to speak to someone.

the phone call is free , i would wait as long as it takes to speak to someone to get a resolution ;) , alternatively , how close is your local ntl office ???????? , you could do worse than go knocking on the door ;)
