i've had a taxan 21" monitor for 4 years now and the pictures started to look a little soft and the contrast is bad these days so i've decided to get a new one, 21" monitor are £350+ so i can't justify the £ÃÆ ’‚£Ãà¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚£ to the wife:grind: for a couple of extra inches(don't even say it..you know what i mean), so i'm looking at one of the following, any ideas?
19" AOC 9GLR CRT Monitor
19" Arianet Digital Monitor
19" Hyundai ImageQuest P910
19" SAMSUNG HI-RES CRT MONITOR(OEM)
19" LG Studioworks CRT Standard

Why not find out how much it would cost to get the Taxan serviced as well?

I quite like the quality of the AOC monitors though and they DO come with a 3 yr on site warranty.

Incidentally, you COULD try a place in guiseley called The Monitor Shop...

Last 21" I got from them cost £150ish

Last 21" I got from them cost £150ish the aoc was my first choice having a 0.21mm pitch, I've looked at reconditioned 21" monitors but they all tend to be 4+ years old so i don't really see that as an improvement

i've got a 19" LG Studioworks CRT Standard monitor, i got it from makro cost me £89+vat (£104.5 7) about march time. It's a good monitor and it looks good too! The only draw back is it is very long in depth, so you'll need plenty of space at the back!!

whatever you choose stay away from samsung / samtron
the first one I got went bang they have now sent 6 replacements
(can't fault them for that) but all of them had geometry problems or colour blooming.
on top of that the tv is samsung, guess what that went bang as well, comet replaced that with a new one which has a faulty line transformer and the picture keeps collapsing inwards.

samsung suck, or my case blow
