Use windows XP - 30 g H/drive - 256 ram 2.6 ghz speed. Use NTL b/band basic (300k) Ethernet connection. I lose connection sometimes after 10mins, 2 or 3 hours or sometimes it last 2 or 3 days. When this happens, the IP address in "Internet Connections" is incorrect. A restart will always enable re-connection to the service. Have discussed this with ntl and they suggest clearing all cookies and files.. Seems a bit drastic !! :dunce: Not serious but an irritant when I am busy !!
