I don't seem to be able to access any of the BBC's sites at the moment on my NTL connection.

Pismo:~ lew$ ping www.bbc.co.uk
ping: unknown host www.bbc.co.uk
Pismo:~ lew$ ping news.bbc.co.uk
ping: unknown host news.bbc.co.uk
Pismo:~ lew$ ping bbc.co.uk
ping: unknown host bbc.co.uk

Anyone else experiencing this?

The BBC seem to have a bit of a dns problem at the moment.

They list their nameservers as ;

-> ns1.thny.bbc.co.uk.
-> ns1.bbc.co.uk.
-> ns1.thdo.bbc.co.uk.
-> ns1.thls.bbc.co.uk.

But none of them appear to be responding to requests atm, so when the bbc dns records exceed their ttl on an ISP's dns servers- they cannot re-request the details and you get an error.

Their dns servers are up and running again anyway.
