Hey all.

Having major problems atm in Manchester (1.5mbit bb, cm). DNS dead and therefore all websites dead. Managed to specify a proxy (ntl) by using ip range: 62.252.32.x - I used 8 originally but I think most of the ntl proxies are in this range.

Anyhow. It kind of works.. despite inet being a little slow. at least I can chat to people and moan about it :)

Sorry for the bad english..kind of rushed.

Hope it's of use to y'all.

Oh..thanks to my good friend Dan for looking up IPs and guessing the IP range :p

dan says:
the luton caches are 62.252.64.x
dan says:
x=12,16,11,15

wibble

It wouldn't let me look them up when my inet was playing up...hope it's of use to some people to have these listed.

Hiya,

I had no end of DNS Problems last night (in leeds LS12) and I got around it in the end by just disabling the proxy server.

lol..perhaps it's mainly just me then...

our connection always seems to go funny when it rains heavily. I used to have the problem with adsl quite a lot (I've been through a lot of bb providers lol) but I've not had it until this year with ntl.. bah! :)

no DNS issues here in Manchester but I do have speed issues they are up and down all the time and browsing can be like 56k at times.

Yeah, my connection seems erratic at the moment as well (SK6). I thought it was just cos they swapped my pace box with a samsung yesterday and something was up with it (still could be that i suppose).

I still can't access anything without running through a proxy. Can't even specify dns servers atm. So annoying ;( and weird
