ALL the Manchester cache's for some reason have changed their address. I guess all the other area's are changing too then?

manc-cache-x.server.ntli.net is the new proxy address, x being 1,2,3 etc...

I noticed this as my browser was set to use cache5-mant.server.ntli.net - and wouldnt load any page. So tried all the other addresses, cache1-mant.server.ntli.net through to cache10-mant.server.ntli.net and none of them work.

The new addresses do work tho - my question is - why the change? I bet ntl will get tons of calls over this, by customers who can't browse and have forgot they are using a proxy.

ACtually, maybe this is a plot to get customers to phone up and say they have no browsing, and tech support tell them to turn the proxy off, thus making everyone go through the load balancer for the proxy rather than just one proxy all the time - if that makes sense?
